Eye colour(s): Green
Are their eyes good?(Meaning they don't /need/ glasses): Yes
General facial structure(high cheekbones, narrow eyes, etc.): Hardly visible cheekbones, long nose, thin, long chin. Wide, almost Disney-esque eyes.

Complexion: Smooth skin, pale if kept out of the sun for long periods of time.
Scars: Lots and lots all over his hands and up his arms from archery and sword fighting practice. He wasn’t very good.
Personality snapshot: A childish simpleton who’s too curious for his own good and can’t see past the end of his own nose.

Most prominent personality trait: Being an easily bored idiot.
Best traits of their personality: Generally an easy-going guy, his love of helping, his love of exploring.
Worst traits of their personality: A poor reaction to boredom, managing to infuriate any friends no matter what he tries.
What caused this kind of personality to form?(based upon upbringing/social whatnot): No-one’s really sure. I mean, shouldn’t any self respecting elf be happy to grow old in Lothlorien, serving the Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn? And no elf should let their hair get… dirty.
Do they like their personality?: He wishes he didn’t find everything so desperately boring, but other than that, he’s fine.

Where do they get the majority of their personality?(Like how children tend to act like their parents/caretakers over time): His father used to tell stories about great adventurers, and how everything outside the woodland realm was so very different.
First impression usually given: An annoying halfwit. Nice voice, though.
How do they handle times of struggle?: It depends. Sometimes he’s fine and will be strong, others he just legs it and hopes for the best.
Outlook on life: Well, it’s alright, but wouldn’t it look better if I was over there?
General attitude: Constantly wanting to know everything about everything, and be somewhere where he isn’t.
Why this attitude?: A love of adventuring and a desperate want for knowledge.
Alignment(Good/evil/bystander/etc.): Chaotic Neutral

How do they respond when the trauma issue is talked about/touched on?: --

Earliest memory: Listening to his father tell a story of the Dúnedain
Mental ailments:--
Emotional ailments:--
In times of trial/trouble, do they react, or respond with logic/decent coherence?: Not often. He tends to babble if he talks at all. Then again, he doesn’t need to talk to run.
Why?: He has a crippling fear of being dead. There’s so much interesting things in the world, and being dead isn’t one of them.
In times of happiness, how do they react/respond?: He tends to get bored. He’ll be happy and join in the celebrations, naturally, but eventually he will get wondering about things happening elsewhere and wander off.
Why?: Natural curiosity. He’s a born adventurer.
In times of great excitement, how do they react/respond?: Bubbling happiness. Until it gets boring. Or dangerous.
Why?: Because it isn’t boring, or likely to kill him. Until it does.
In times of much sadness, how do they react/respond?: Hopelessly looks around to see if there is anything he can possibly do to improve the situation, and try to comfort anyone but himself.
Why?: The way he figures it, he’s got a long enough life expectancy to deal with sadness, but the same can’t be said for anyone else.
Current dream in life: To explore as far as he can, and hopefully figure out why he can’t sit still, so to speak.
Why is this their dream?: He’s fed up of getting bored and then getting into life-threatening situations.
Long term goals: Finding something or somewhere or someone that can keep him interested and not make him go off wandering again.
Why?: All the near-death experiences are starting to get to him.
Short term goals: Finding somewhere with lots of people with lots of money who need entertainment.
Why?: To get enough money to buy some food.
Life interests: Escaping death, finding something interesting, wandering aimlessly, singing for money.
Marital status(Single, married, dating, etc.): Single
What traits do they look for in a possible lover?:
Are they picky when it comes to romance searching?: He’s never really thought about it. He’s only 920, after all.

If they don't have any, what keeps them going?:--
What makes them tick(think the way they do)?: A want to find out about as much as physically possible, and to see as much as he can without killing himself along the way.
Good habits: Naturally helpful. While not completely selfless, he will give up time to help an old woman or give money to a family that needs it more than he does.
Bad habits: An insatiable curiosity that takes him rifling through peoples things if left alone for too long, and he gets bored very quickly and looses interest in whatever it is he finds boring. And the fact that there’s always the chance he’ll run away when faced with danger.
Abilities(As in powers): The advanced senses gifted to all elves, most notably his eyesight and hearing.
Are these powers inherited generation to generation?:yes
If not, why?:--
If so, why?:Hereditary elven gift.
Special skills(Not meaning powers): An exceptional singing voice, and decent archery and tracking skills. He’s not the best person to take on an epic adventure, but he isn’t the worst, either.
Hobbies: Exploring, getting into and swiftly out of trouble.
How do they spend their free time?: Wandering from place to place.
What about their non-free time?: Singing for money, or fleeing for his life.
___
Nimtolien grew up knowing he was nothing special. He had a lot of time to come to this conclusion; he is, after all, just under one thousand years old. The reasons he is nothing special are as follows:
No extra-special star sign marked the hour of his birth.
Both his parents were perfectly respectable but completely normal Lothlorien elves.
He does not have a twin; evil, long-lost or otherwise.
He isn’t remarkably intelligent (He gets on alright, I mean, but he’s no genius.)
He’s scrawny even for an elf.
And he isn’t even great at archery. Better than most humans, but still, these are elven standards.
He even lets his hair get dirty and messy if he can't be bothered.
He can, however, sing. Not that this is much of an accomplishment in Lothlorien, or any other elven place, when singing is almost a sport.
It’s probably lucky for Nimtolien that he gets bored very easily.
He left Lothlorien after an argument with another young elf (Who had said that he was a better archer than Nimtolien, which, while entirely true, is just not said. Nimtolien retorted by saying his singing was far better, but the other elf was having none of it) and started singing for money to go pretty much nowhere. He has a love of exploring and a curiosity rivalled only by a certain cat (who got killed, so it’s fine).
He doesn’t particularly enjoy trouble, or life-threatening situations, but seems to land himself smack bang in the middle of either one of them at any opportunity. The main reason for this could be his inability to deal with boredom, and his love of annoying anyone stupid enough to befriend him with inane questions and complaints.
He has a soft spot, as all elven gentlemen do, for damsels in distress. Even if they’re not particularly ladylike. Or in much distress. If any woman asks for his help, he will almost definitely say yes. Especially if they have a number of sharp, pointy objects on their person.
In short, Nimtolien isn’t particularly noteworthy. He isn’t the bravest of the brave, the strongest of the strong, or even the weakest of the weak. The only way there would be epic ballads composed of his deeds would be if he wrote them himself.*
*To be fair, he only tried it once.
